The Lion of Judah - 11"x14" on dark gray seude board with Prismacolor pencils.

I took the reference photo myself this past summer. Hope you like him. He'll be going into my window display at the gallery. He is for sale if anyone is interested, as is my Sheltie painting (which I mistakenly called a border collie).

what a lovely proud expression. I love the wiry hair texture of the mane, and the mixture of colours in it. Another fantastic one for your display. They're going to look stunning all together!

lions are so awsome i want a pet lion


the backround makes him seem so sorta wise and old but i donno i wanna seem some cute cubs in action biting eachother with a happy color behind them lol but thats just me :p

Hmmm ...... I've been excited about seeing Narnia, but I never even thought of the link between my lion and Narnia.

You want to hear something even weirder? My husband saw a picture of Aslan in the newspaper today and showed it to me. It looked so much like my lion that it almost could have been a duplicate. I was working straight from a ref pic I took this past summer, before I even heard they were coming out with Narnia. How the two look so much alike I don't know.
